Starting Salary: Rates negotiable based on experience
Atex Solutions Limited are seeking to recruit CompEx certified personnel to supplement our team and support existing projects in the NW of England.
This specific role will be based on our main site in Thornton Lancashire
The successful candidate will undertake Initial and Periodic inspection of instrument and electrical equipment contained within a 'Potentially Explosive Atmosphere'.
Suitably experienced electrical or instrumentation technician with sound knowledge of equipment contained within a potentially explosive atmosphere. You will be required to be able to plan, co-ordinate and execute inspection and testing requirements to BS EN 60079-17. A sound knowledge and understanding of the 'ATEX Directives' is required.
Note: A valid CompEx 1 - 4 certification is essential.
Main responsibilities:
- Plan/Coordinate and Undertake Hazardous Equipment Inspection
You will need to hold the following:
- Time served apprenticeship
- CompEx Ex01-Ex04 certificate
- Demonstrable Hazardous Inspector competence , and certification of electrical installations
Desirable:
- CompEx Ex 5 & 6
- CompEx Ex 12
